Joint Industry Project (JIP):Leading External Corrosion Control
Objectives
- To enable professionals to “lead external corrosion control”, rather than “follow external corrosion” by demonstrating the value of integrating rates from five (5) different sources
- To enable companies to exceed new regulatory and standards requirements
- To help the companies to effectively use data from different sources by overcoming logistics, human resources, human-factor, data collection, and other issues
- To demonstrate the utility of this approach using case studies; two case studies will be carried out per sponsoring company.
